Dr. Xinxing Liu, DMD
Dr. Liu has always had a passion for the arts and sciences. She also grew up with complex orthodontic issues, which required her and her mother to travel hours every week just to visit an orthodontist. Due to her struggles, she understands the importance of receiving essential dental care in a convenient location for patients of all ages. By being able to combine her artistic and scientific skills, she gets to provide high-quality treatments to help others achieve the healthy and beautiful smiles they deserve.
Dr. Liu began her career in dentistry by attending and earning her undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis. Afterward, she moved on to study and complete her dental doctorate at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. For years, she’s been providing family dentistry for people of all ages in the Dallas area. She’s also always wanted to lead her own dental practice and is more than ecstatic to deliver personalized and modern services to patients near Uptown Dallas.
While Dr. Liu regularly seeks continuing education to refine her skills and expertise, she also loves spending time with her husband. Together, they like going on walks with their Labrador mix and hanging out with their two African Sulcata tortoises! She enjoys swimming, watching movies with family and loved ones, and trying out new types of foods.

Frequently Asked Questions
It’s normal to have questions about oral healthcare. It’s also important that you seek answers from a dentist near Uptown Dallas who can provide clarity and transparency. At Ross Avenue Family Dental, we are pleased to deliver carefully crafted responses to many of the most common and frequently asked questions from prospective and current patients. We invite you to review the information below and call us when you’re ready to schedule an appointment.
How do I get emergency dental care?
When finding a dentist who offers emergency care, you’ll want to consider the kind of availability they provide. Putting off a serious dental issue because you are unsure if you can get in is never a good idea. Fortunately, at our dental practice, we not only offer same-day treatment, but we’re also open on Saturdays and evenings.
The first step you should take, though, is to call your dentist’s office to inquire about getting in as soon as possible. A team member will evaluate the severity of the situation and offer helpful first-aid tips while you wait. From there, you can expect to receive the timely care you need and deserve.
What do you do if you can’t afford a dentist?
Avoiding oral healthcare is not something you should consider, even if you don’t think you can afford it. Neglecting regular treatment will only increase your risk of serious issues that will cost you more time and money down the road.
While using your dental insurance is the most recommended option, there are many other ways that you can pay when visiting a dentist’s office. Whether it is using a credit card, enrolling in a flexible payment plan, or signing up for an in-house membership program, most dentists provide multiple options for patients.
At Ross Avenue Family Dental, we are pleased to not only accept Medicaid and CHIP plans, but we also offer flexible financing through CareCredit and Sunbit.
How do I find the best place to get dental work?
You’ll need to ask yourself a few questions to determine the best place to receive dental work. Do you want a specialist or a family dentist? Are you interested in an in-network dentist or someone out-of-network? Do you want the practice to be near to your home or office?
As you consider your options based on the answers to these questions, you can more readily narrow your search and select a dentist that works best for you and your family. Ross Avenue Family Dental is pleased to offer comprehensive services to everyone in your family, no matter their age, and we are in-network with a host of dental insurance plans.
How much does a dental checkup and cleaning cost in Upper Dallas?
The average cost for a dental checkup and teeth cleaning is between $200 and $350. However, this can fluctuate based on the location of your dentist’s office as well as whether you plan to use your dental insurance to help cover the cost.
You’ll find that most dental insurance companies agree to cover preventive services at 80-100%, so it’s in your best interest to use your insurance. However, if you do not plan to use your dental insurance or do not have a private plan, you can pay another way with flexible financing to help with the out-of-pocket expenses you will incur.
